Travel through Asia on our multi-country itineraries.
Asia evokes images of saffron robed Buddhist monks, golden temples and idyllic islands. A land of mystery, natural beauty and intriguing contrasts between ultra modern and the ageless.
A jungle elephant ride in the golden triangle of Thailand and a short break in a luxury beach resort. Friendly smiles in Cambodia and Vietnam, retracing history at the gigantic temple of Angkor Wat or cruising majestic Halong Bay. In Laos, rice paddies contrast with pagodas and colonial French architecture.
Snow covered mountains, cherry blossoms and a bullet train ride into Tokyo, Japan. Framing the perfect photo from the Great Wall of China, or a river cruise down the colossal Yangtze River. The frenetic harbour viewed from Victoria Peak, Hong Kong. Sipping a Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel.
Asia has a lifetime of travel opportunities and we’ve crafted our multi-country itineraries to give you the best chance of experiencing them all.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my India and Nepal trip. The guide remembered me from last India trip and had a few beers. I even did the paragliding in Pokhara in Nepal amongst the Himalayan mountains- pretty good in my 70s! The locals are so friendly and amazing culture." — Mr Bouman, Mullumbimby, November 2018
"We had the most awesome time with some very memorable experiences. Especially at the Taj where Wayne surprised me with a marriage proposal. All very secretly set up with the assistance of our local guide. All our guides and driver were so flexible, helpful and accommodating. Our accommodation was lovely and everything ran so smoothly. It all made for a perfect holiday." — Kerri and party, Mackay, September 2018
"We had a fantastic time in Hanoi, cruising on Halong Bay Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi tunnels and finally the Mekong delta. We found the Vietnamese people to be extremely friendly. Our accommodations were lovely. The Vietnamese food was exquisite, and every included meal throughout the holiday had catered in advance for the allergy we had mentioned when booking. A special thanks must go to our private tour guides. Their insight into the Vietnamese culture and ability to answer all and any questions greatly enhanced the experience for us. We would strongly recommend private tours like this. " — Mr & Mrs Oppell, Cheltenham, May 2018
"We are enjoying Bhutan. The accommodation in Thimpu is great. The food has been good and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It is nice to be in a cooler climate and a place where we can walk around. Guide and driver are good. Each pair of driver and guide offer something unique and different. Throughout this adventure all our drivers have been very good. All the accommodation has met or exceeded our expectations -thank you. This adventure has been different, as we expected, and we are pleased we have visited Sri Lanka, Southern India and Bhutan. " — Mr. and Mrs. Cumming, Sydney, April 2018
"Uzbekistan is very interesting with lots of very well preserved old cities and buildings. Khiva was wonderful. A real Silk Road flavour still. The guide said they are going to reconstruct the outer wall as it was originally and build more hotels for tourists. They are also building a fast train to connect the major cities. The driving distances are long at present. A 20th century mosque and a more modern one in Khiva. " — Mr and Mrs Martin, Sydney, October 2017
"Thanks for your efforts in making a wonderful holiday experience for us. Our guides were excellent and the trains were very comfortable. The accommodation was more than adequate and was excellent value in Russia particularly. The ballet in Ekaterinburg and the opera in St.Petersburg were most enjoyable." — Gae Mulvogue, Sydney, NSW, May 2015
"The trip was fantastic! We really enjoyed every place we have visited. The best was Xian in terms of high quality hotel, food and the guide was incredibly good. I will definitely recommend GetAboutAsia to my family and friends. " — Patricia Berlioz , Sydney, NSW, April, 2015
