Nepal

All our Nepal tours will bring you the destination as close as possible. We offer private tours with English speaking local guides, private transfers and handpicked accommodations. Whether you want visit the highlights of Nepal or looking for an in depth experience, our travel experts tailor made the right holiday package for you.

Nepal encompasses subtropical forest and soaring cloud swathed peaks. You can be gliding along a steamy jungle river in a dugout canoe in the morning, and sheltering from an alpine snowstorm in the afternoon. The expansive grasslands of Chitwan National Park offer one of the last remaining habitats for the magnificent Bengal tiger. And then there’s Everest; beautiful, formidable and irresistible to trekkers.

Nepal’s culture is as diverse as its landscape. A stroll through the temple-studded streets of the ancient capital of Kathmandu reveals an eclectic mix of ethnicities - Ghurkhas, Indian traders, and Sadhus with their dreadlocks and long beards, often on pilgrimage to one of the region’s sacred Hindu sites. In the Annapurna Valley, multiple generations remain dedicated to a traditional way of life in tiny Sherpa villages and highland settlements. And wherever you go, a friendly greeting of ‘Namaste’ invites you.

"Really enjoyed our holiday. Everything went very well. Nepal/Kathmandu - Guide was informative and helpful. Office in Nepal were very professional and checked in on us via phone etc. Bhutan - was spectacular. Loved our guide and driver. It is such a special place with lots of interesting sites and culture and beliefs. Wonderful memories were made eg we were able to go to the driver’s farm/home and meet friend’s and family and see how the average person in Bhutan lives. We did some really good walks with beautiful scenery as a reward at the end of the walk. Overall an amazing time and would recommend to others. " — Mr and Mrs Santry, Gold Coast, November 2018

"I just wanted to thank you for helping organise my holiday, everything was great. The accommodation and guide you organised for me in Kathmandu was good, I saw and learnt a lot, the lady at GetaboutAsia even called me on the Sunday night to check if the guide and driver had done a good job. Bhutan was unbelievable, the country and the people, I made it to the Tigers Nest and did all the treks (hikes) which were part of my tour (I surprised myself in this). I even saw Mt Everest on the fly in and flying out had a great view of the Himalayan snow peaks. " — Leanne, Castlemaine, VIC, October 2018

"Both Nepal and Bhutan were enjoyable and definitely worth the trip. Highlights were Bodnath, Annapuras, and Mount Everest in Nepal - I took an ultralite flight to see the Annapura snowcaps. The cultures are obviously different in both countries with the most striking difference being the Bhutanese buildings. The guides were great, the food was awesome, and the accommodation was very nice." — Paul, Cleve SA, July 2018

"We loved Nepal – it is very busy but people are so friendly and we loved the Mt Everest scenic flight- magical everyone must do." — Mr & Mrs Major, Sydney , April 2018

"On the base camp I booked helicopter from Namche up to Gorak Shep to pick up Lana and our guide see Everest and then fly back to Kathmandu- incredible views! Barahi Lodge in Chitwan was fantastic, probably would have liked one extra day. Pokhara was also interesting, walked up to the Peace Pagoda as a training hike after boating across the lake. Sarangkot lookout was also a bit of a hike (by moonlight) for sunrise and although a fairly clouding had some good views. Bandipur was also very nice .Thank you for your help. " — Dale and Lana, Sydney, October 2017

"Had a fabulous trip. Thank you again for your wonderful organisational skills when you put together our trip to Nepal. We really did have a ball and unbelievable memories as well as photos! Overall trip – fascinating, fun, awesome, unbelievable colours, dust, heat, steps, people, cars, taxis & motorbikes by the “trillion”, mum, dad and the kids all on one motorbike, sacred cows sitting in the road in fact sitting or standing anywhere and everywhere, stupas, stalls, shops, people, noise, curry, chilli, garlic in all the food, laughter, lots of shopping (the shop till you drop group) and the sense that we had given just a little back when we bought things to take home. However, we are so grateful for all your hard work in putting together an amazing trip. It fell Into place beautifully and you and your company have done a wonderful job. Thank you. " — Sue Armstrong, Warrumbungle NSW, April 2017

"The trip was fantastic, even the long, slow drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (SO scenic!). The hotels were much better than I expected. We went paragliding in Pokhara and also did the Everest flight which we couldn’t really afford, but it was amazing." — Pam, Melbourne, November 2016

"Nowhere in the world captures your imagination quite like Nepal, but the reality exceeded my wildest dreams. From the captivating views of the Himalayas, to the friendliness and openness of the wonderful people I encountered - and all the history, beauty and sights to see, Nepal really was that trip of a lifetime, that I’m looking forward to doing again." — Luke, QLD, June 2016

"Flying to Nepal was a thrill and something I will never forget. I came home with my brain free of stress and can honestly say I would use the company again. It was beyond amazing and I really enjoyed it and had the best time. There was not one day that I didn't have a good time; the guide were so knowledgeable and very helpful." — Julee Dean, Terrigal, March 2016
