Located off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui is Thailand’s third largest island and a tropical paradise. Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Koh Samui

Meet your guide on arrival, transfer and check-in to your hotel. During the drive your guide will provide an introduction to Koh Samui, answer any questions you have, and make arrangements for the following day. Enjoy free time for the remainder of the first day.

Lying off Thailand’s east coast in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui offers everything you could wish for in a beach retreat, including white sand beaches, coconut palms, crystal clear water and fresh seafood. With an area of 247 square kilometres (95 square miles), Koh Samui is the largest island in an archipelago of around 80 islands. The nearby Koh Pha-Ngan and Koh Tao also offer beach resorts and great diving. Like Phuket, Koh Samui attracts many visitors yet it has retained its laidback atmosphere with plenty of quiet places for those wishing to get away from it all.

Koh Samui has untouched beaches, beachside restaurants and bars within walking distance, or a cheap taxi ride, of your accommodation. Whatever your interests, be sure to ask your guide for personal recommendations.

Day 2: Koh Samui

Join with others and depart from Koh Samui for Koh Tao, a less developed island, around 70 kilometres (43 miles) to the north. Koh Tao, also known as Turtle Island is an important breeding ground for Hawksbill and Green Turtles. This small tropical island surrounded by palm fringed beaches offers superb snorkelling and scuba diving, white sandy beaches and a rich jungle. Shallow reefs surrounding idyllic islands, with crystal clear warm waters are just a stone’s throw from Koh Tao. Coral of all colour, shapes and sizes with hundreds of different fish can be observed when you put your head below the surface of the water.

Enjoy lunch on one of the beaches and simply relax and take in the atmosphere. Snorkelling gear is provided by the captain who knows the best spots to swim. Transfer back to your hotel in Koh Samui in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Koh Samui

Enjoy free time relaxing by the pool, getting a massage on the beach, or browsing the market shops.

Day 4: Koh Samui

On your last day enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
